Engendered SPACE Residency & Exhibition opens in New Delhi on 29 Jan 2012.

Sharing a picture from the opening day of me next to The Erotic Impulse, acrylic and oil on canvas, 72in x 96in (diptych), 2012 – a new work I created for the Engendered SPACE Residency & Exhibition in New Delhi. Open until Feb 29th.

With artists Sharmistha Ray, Simeen Farhat, Amina Ahmed, Satyakam Saha, Balbir Krishan, Satadru Sovan, Jose Abad & Sandip Kuriakose

Launch Event & Opening Reception: January 29 2012, 2 p.m – 6 p.m
(A Collateral event to the India Art Fair)

2 pm – Doors
3 pm – ‘Open Contemporary’ with Leeza Ahmady New York based independent curator,
dOCUMENTA (13) Agent, and Director of ACAW (Asian Contemporary Art Week).
Ahmady will discuss contemporary art practices, curatorial and art-historical
re-considerations, and the wonders of working in an era of unprecedented access to
artists worldwide.
4 pm – Late Brunch & High Tea on Engendered Residency Terrace
