    Sharmistha Ray has been on my “Artist on the Rise” watchlist for a while now. Since I first saw images of her abstracts about 5 years ago, I’ve noted wonderful developments in her style: bold colors, richly textured surfaces. I look forward to the day I can view her work — for real — exhibited in Mumbai or elsewhere.
